the Power House is a church in downtown Baltimore that shares Jesus with those in the neighborhood of Pigtown. The website was originally made in 2002, and desperately needed to get out of the past. The website is used to provide information about the various ministries at the church, display the weekly newsletter, and announce upcoming events.

The banner is a reproduction of a mural that the children of the church painted on a nearby building, created from a series of digital pictures. Other features are two separate calendars - one to display regularly scheduled events, and another for special events, a listing on the front page that shows all events that will occur on that day, all calendars are updatable by the church staff, a picture gallery that is as easily managed as a flickr or snapfish account and a segment for the weekly newsletter that is updated by the pastor.
